Youngho Yun, DDS
Dr. Youngho Yun is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a strong background in biomedical engineering and a passion for patient-centered care. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his time at Georgia Tech, he contributed to cancer research, with his work published in a scientific journal. In his senior year, he participated in the Capstone Design Expo, where his team’s project was a semi-finalist for the prestigious InVenture Prize.
Dr. Yun went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. During his time at USC, he excelled both academically and clinically, receiving recognition for his achievements. He also served as Vice President of the Korean Dental Student Association (KDSA) and dedicated much of his free time to volunteering with organizations such as JWCH, Mobile Clinic, Queens Care, Dental Care for Children and AYUDA — providing essential dental care to underserved communities.
With his strong foundation in science and engineering, Dr. Yun enjoys exploring innovative dental materials and equipment mechanics to enhance restorative procedures. He is committed to continuous learning through post-graduate training and advanced courses, ensuring that he provides the most up-to-date and comprehensive dental care for his patients.
Guided by his mother’s advice — “Treat your patients as if you are treating me.” — Dr. Yun approaches dentistry with empathy and dedication. He finds fulfillment in building lasting relationships with his patients and helping them maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yun enjoys visiting museums, discovering new cafés and exploring diverse restaurants.
